Our Story
Based in Oslo, Norway, Jonas and William met through social media and a common love for fashion, music and pop culture. They first met summer 2021 but it wasn’t until winter 2022 they really started to become good friends. They became a duo of sorts. Growing and creating content together, the friends were rarely seen doing anything by themselves.
With a similar sense of mindset, fashion style and aesthetic, they decided early 2023 to start working on a brand together. This was, at the time, just some boys talking about dreams over a couple of beers. After some time ideas started to brew, designs were aired, and the name “Twelve” was born. Twelve has a lot of meaning, being the last month in the calendar as well being the month both Jonas and William is born. Twelve also represents balance and harmony, essential for success in all areas of life.
“We want to make clothes we want that we can’t find anywhere else”
The first product, the Leopard Beanie, was created because it was a product both wanted in their wardrobe, but couldn’t find anywhere else. This is something Twelve will keep in mind going forward with new designs.
Living in Norway with weather as cold as -50 degrees celsius and as warm as 36 degrees celsius, Twelve seeks to create clothes suitable for all climates. Furthermore being from a Scandinavian country, a lot of the designs take inspiration from the relaxed but serious lifestyle of the Scandinavian fashion culture.
